Jeff  "Shack"
Jeff has always been a rider of sorts, be it on the road or the trails, and he taught everyone in the "hood" to ride. At age 18 he started building race cars, everything from Monza's to Camaro's, Nova's to Mustangs, and even a 6 second Plymouth Arrow. And now he is into motorcycles, dirt bikes, and atv's. His first bike was a Kawasaki KZ 400. When he got bored with the bikes stock look he made some custom one-off parts for it. That's when the sickness started. He started buying junk bikes that people were either too lazy to cover up, or just didn't have the time or money to fix up. He saved the bikes that were able to be restored, and started an Ebay store to sell the parts off of the bike that were to far gone. He realized that not everyone could afford a $20,000-$30,000 chopper, and decided to build and customize older Jap bikes that are easily affordable for the average working class men and women.
Jay  "Jaybird"
Jay has also been riding since his teenage years with his first custom coming at age 15 when he crashed Jeff's dirt bike and replaced the handlebars with something from a mongoose bicycle to fix it. Jay's first bike was Kawasaki KZ 440 which he completely tore down to its frame and rebuilt from the ground up . He has owned several bikes and continues to buy more. He is also know as our carb and fuel system tech, there isn't a set of carbs that will beat him he always gets them working perfect. Jay is a member of Bikers for Christ and is very involved in a few charities such as The Biker Down Fund and Toys for Tots. we have come together to start Double J Cycles.

We're just two guys who have a love for building and restoring motorcycles, dirt bikes, and atv's. We've been friends for over 20 years who grew up in Springfield VA, and now both reside in Colonial Beach VA.
We are all family guys and family, in our eyes, comes first. We are regular 9-5ers away from DJC, and still are able to have our focus on bikes for 5 to 6 hours a night during the week, and usually all weekend .
